Information:

The Release Notes included with MailMarshal SMTP 6.9 are accurate as of the date of publication. This article provides any additional information generated after that date.

The current release of MailMarshal SMTP 6.9 is 6.9.9, released on January 17, 2012 (build 6.9.9.4075).

Release 6.9.9 provides fixes for a number of specific issues identified in the previous 6.9 releases. For details see the Release Notes.

SQL 2005 prerequisite

The Release Notes and other documentation state that the Service Pack requirement for SQL 2005 and SQL 2005 Express is SP2 or above.

However the actual requirement is SP3 or above.

This requirement applies to all MailMarshal 6.9 releases. It is checked and enforced by the Configuration Wizard and Server Tool.
