Marshal8e6 Sets Sights on Growth with Appointment of New APAC Marketing Manager

Sydney, 03 March, 2009, Marshal8e6 today announced the appointment of Marie Evans as APAC marketing manager, based in Sydney, following the merger between Marshal and 8e6 in November last year.  The company plans to build on its success in the region by accelerating growth and increasing its channel focus. Evans’ background and expertise will play a critical role, as she assumes responsibilities for driving the channel marketing programme as well as enterprise focused campaigns to support the region’s business and sales objectives.

Marie Evans joins Marshal8e6 from Trend Micro and brings with her 20 years experience in channel marketing and an in-depth knowledge of the security market.  Her immediate focus will be on growing Marshal8e6’s business in Australia and New Zealand and reinforcing relationships with the channel.  She will be responsible for the development and execution of lead generation campaigns working with Marshal8e6’s partner community.
