Marshal8e6 Launches UK Channel Partner Programme

Marshal8e6's Partner Focus demonstrates opportunities presented by new comprehensive email and Web security portfolio in £981million market*
London, UK – March 10, 2009 – Marshal8e6, the new secure email and Web gateway security provider formed from the merger of Marshal and 8e6 Technologies has today launched its new UK channel partner programme, with the goal of making Marshal8e6 the vendor partner of choice for email and Web security solutions.
At a series of partner events co-hosted with UK distributors Wick Hill, Vigil and Softek**, Marshal8e6 has stressed its commitment to remaining 100 per cent channel focused and outlined its strategy for supporting partners in a challenging market.
Marshal8e6's Partner Focus programme provides improved and extended channel support to partners in line with their partner status. The programme entitles partners access to joint marketing material, sales collateral, in-depth product and sales training, pre-sales support, and financial incentives via the Marshal8e6 Stars rewards scheme. Premier partners will be assigned a dedicated account manager who will work with them to ensure that they receive the full benefits of the new Marshal8e6 Partner Focus to drive lead generation campaigns, convert leads and grow their business in the public and private sectors.
Resellers were given an overview of the enhanced Marshal8e6 product portfolio, an in depth insight into the product roadmap and details about sales and marketing support available to resellers including campaigns in a box; telesales resources; email marketing; telesales driven campaigns, regular sales and technical webinars and special customer promotions. The programme also offers senior partner levels with additional margin, offering greater revenue opportunity.
Marshal8e6 is also looking to recruit resellers in the private and public sector and seeks in particular to grow its business in the UK education sector, leveraging the strong and successful 8e6 pedigree in this vertical market. Commenting on the Marshal8e6 channel recruitment strategy, Nick Hawkins, vice president of sales EMEA said, "We are continuing to assist our partners in growing their business with us by committing significant investment in our channel programme. At a time when many vendors are reducing headcount, we've increased the size of our UK channel team to boost technical support, channel sales support and support for lead generation.
