Sydney, Australia, Sep 07 - M86 Security today announced the availability of its MailMarshal SPE 3.0 solution, a major release in its email security tool kit for service providers. YOURasp, one of Australia's leading and most innovative cloud-based application and Internet providers, is the first local service provider to bolster its hosted email security offering with this new release.

MailMarshal SPE 3.0 is a business enablement solution for managed service providers and ISPs. It allows them to offer complete end-to-end, hosted email security services to customers and partners.

Managed Microsoft Exchange is one of YOURasp's key service offerings and the company currently assists more than 2,000 customers across APAC. To complement this offering, YOURasp delivers customers a hosted email screening service that assists in managing spam, screens for virus and malicious code attacks and also filters content.

In order to ensure it continues to deliver the highest level of email security, YOURasp approached M86 Security to deliver its robust and highly scalable hosted email screening solution that would support its extensive partner channel and end users alike. The company has recently upgraded from the existing version to MailMarshal SPE 3.0.

MailMarshal SPE 3.0 is a true email content security solution for deployment in large multi-server environments. The unique Array Manager architecture allows centralised administration and policy control and consolidated email handling across multiple email processing nodes. The centralised array makes it easy for YOURasp to manage policies, user accounts and messages spread across multiple servers.

Additional features of SPE 3.0 include a brand-new customer Web-console, an update to Image Analyser, the introduction of opt-in message digests, enhanced SMTP authentication and new message release options. It provides a complete package of email filtering, anti-spam, anti-virus, encryption, pornographic image detection, policy compliance, email archiving and reporting services within a centrally managed, highly scalable architecture.

YOURasp's customers can view details surrounding how much spam has been filtered out for them or how many viruses have been blocked. They can also generate custom or scheduled reports for bandwidth or for messages classified by user, trends or domains.
