John Vigouroux

John Vigouroux

Chief Executive Officer

John Vigouroux is M86 Security's chief executive officer. He joined the company in April of 2009 to execute the company's growth plan and manage overall operations. John brings with him over 25 years of technology industry experience in large and small companies, the last 19 years in Silicon Valley. He has a proven track record in the information security industry of increasing top and bottom line results, most recently as President and CEO of Finjan, an enterprise Web security company headquartered in San Jose, California. Vigouroux has also successfully led public companies as President and COO of Tumbleweed Communications, an established leader in messaging security. He joined Tumbleweed through the company's 2002 merger with publicly traded Valicert, where Vigouroux served as President and CEO. John grew up in the U.S. and Europe. He is an alumni, Trustee, Executive Committee member and also inducted into the Athletic Hall of fame of Averett University.


Bruce Green

Bruce Green

Chief Operating Officer

Bruce Green, Chief Operating Officer and based in the International headquarters in the UK, is responsible for driving the International growth of M86 Security solutions and managing global operations including Worldwide Customer support and IT/MIS. With a proven industry record in successfully driving performance improvement and aligning people, processes and cultures in global business environments, he also leads the integration process of Finjan into the M86 organization. Bruce brings over thirty years experience in the IT Services and Communications industry M86's executive team and is instrumental in driving maximum performance through the implementation of commercially-focused financial and operational controls and processes. Prior to M86, he held senior executive positions for finance or operations at multinational organizations including BT Global Services, Syntegra and BT(CBP) Ltd.


Rodney S. Miller

Chief Financial Officer

As chief financial officer of M86 Security, Rod Miller holds management responsibility for all company finance functions including overseeing the controller, budget, investor relations, tax and internal audits. Rod brings over 18 years of operational and financial management experience to his new role and will provide support, advice and resource allocation recommendations to executive management worldwide. He previously served as CFO at a variety of high-growth companies, including WorkAlert Inc., National Tour Inc. and HemoTherapies Inc. Rod started his career at Ernst & Young where he served as an auditor and information systems specialist staff accountant, and was a member of the Entrepreneurial Services Group. He holds a B.S. degree in Accounting and a Master of Accountancy with an emphasis in Information Technology, both from Brigham Young University.


William Kilmer

William Kilmer

Chief Marketing Officer

In his role as Chief Marketing Officer, William Kilmer, is responsible for world wide marketing and product strategy for M86 Security. He brings to M86 Security a vast amount of experience in the software and services market from product management, marketing, strategy, investment, and M&A. He was previously the CEO of Avinti, a developer of behavior-based malware detection solutions which was acquired by M86 Security in 2009. Prior he worked for Intel Corporation, where he was managing director of Intel Capital Europe and director of strategic marketing for its communication and networking organizations. He has worked with several start ups previously including Dayna Communications, which was acquired by Intel. Mr. Kilmer holds a bachelor's degree in computer science and economics from Binghamton University and completed post-graduate work at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He also graduated with an MBA from the Marriott School of Management at BYU and holds a master's degree from the University of Warwick in Coventry, United Kingdom.




Paul D. Myer

Paul D. Myer

Senior Vice President, Corporate Development

As Senior Vice President, Corporate Development, Paul has worldwide responsibility for mergers, acquisitions, strategic alliances and partnerships. Paul is a technology industry veteran who brings over 20 years of executive management, sales, marketing and business development experience to M86 Security. Mr. Myer previously served as President and COO at 8e6 Technologies and he has held senior management positions with leading technology companies. Mr. Myer's prior experience includes business development positions with RLX Technologies, the pioneer in high-density server blades, and he served as V.P. Sales for GoShip.com, an Internet shipping and logistics startup. At NEC Technologies, he directed sales and marketing for the Display, Server and Imaging Divisions. While at Compaq Computer, he handled both channel and direct sales responsibilities for all products. Paul holds a B. A. degree in International Relations from Brigham Young University, and an MBA from Pepperdine University.


Werner Thalmeier

Werner Thalmeier

Vice President, Product Management

As the Vice President of Product Management, Werner Thalmeier is responsible for the company's product management team and specifying and directing the company's product roadmap. Werner's experience crosses both email and web security markets with more than 20 years of work in the IT industry. His background includes field experience working with customers, technology partners and resellers in management and engineering roles. Prior to joining M86 Security, Mr. Thalmeier lead the product management team at Finjan where he helped to create the company's strategy in the secure web gateway market. Previously he also managed the worldwide sales engineering team at Finjan.


Bradley Anstis

Bradley Anstis

Vice President, Technical Strategy

Bradley is responsible for Technical Strategy at M86 Security and primary spokesperson for the company on aspects related to the evolution of the technical and strategic product direction beyond the immediate roadmap. In this role he evaluates new technologies and products that could enhance or extend the core M86 product line, a recent example being the acquisition of the behavioral malware technology from Avinti, Inc. Bradley also heads up the M86 Security Labs which provides 24/7 monitoring of email and Internet traffic to ensure that M86 keeps ahead of emerging threats, security trends and market requirements to provide solutions that protect customers from the latest threats and attacks to their electronic communication channels. Bradley is a 20 year veteran of the IT industry and previously was VP of Products at Marshal. Prior to that, he held various technical management positions with Protocom Development Systems and Citrix in Asia Pacific.




Marcio Lempert

Senior Vice President, EMEA Sales & GM, Israel Operations

Marcio Lempert brings close to 20 years of experience in management positions in hi-tech companies, in Israel and the U.S., and an extensive background in international sales, marketing and general management. He was most recently general manager of international sales and Israel operations at Finjan. Prior to joining Finjan, Mr. Lempert was V.P. Sales & Marketing at Electronics Line 3000 Ltd., where he was responsible for managing the overall sales and marketing activities of the company with a turnover of close to $40M in over 65 countries. Prior to joining EL3K, he held the position of CEO of GoNet Channels. Between 1996-2000, Mr. Lempert worked as V.P. Sales & Marketing at MAVIX. Prior to MAVIX, Mr. Lempert worked in the position of Sales & Marketing Director Asia Pacific at RAD Data Communications and 7 years at Orbotech Inc. (Nasdaq: ORBK), in the US, as a Customer Support Manager. Mr. Lempert received his B.Sc. degree in Management from Lesley College and has a degree in Electronics Engineering.




Thom Linden

Thom Linden

Senior Vice President, Global Research and Development

Thom Linden comes to M86 Security, Inc. with an extensive background in technology architecture, development and methodology. During his career in the industry, Linden has established a reputation for delivering leading-edge hardware and software products and globally-distributed services. He served as VP of Engineering for WatchGuard Technologies, where he established a world-class engineering team and transformed the security products into market leaders. As VP of Engineering and CTO of Command Audio, he was integral in developing and launching an award winning multimedia system used by digital broadcast systems including satellite, DAB and HD Radio. Linden also served as Chief Architect and Senior Director at Oracle where he directed their world-wide service development teams, and in his early career he led international research and development teams at IBM and represented IBM on ISO and ANSI programming language standardization committees.

Linden has an M.S. in Computer Science from Stanford University and a B.A. in Mathematics from San Jose State University. He currently holds six U.S. patents and has nine patents pending.




Eitan Chen

Vice President, Global Technical Support

Eitan Chen is responsible for the management of the Worldwide Technical Support of M86, with strong emphasis on customer satisfaction. Eitan brings over 15 years of experience in multinational hi-tech organizations. Prior to M86, he was the head of the Global Customer Support organization at Finjan Software Ltd., leading the Technical Support, Professional Services, TAM and Training activities.

Mr. Chen began his technical support career at Check Point Software Technologies, where he held various management positions, including establishing and managing the Premium Support Desk.

Mr. Chen holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Business degree (honors) with an emphasis on Information Systems, both from the College of Management Academic Studies (COMAS).
