Group Types:

In the Administrator GUI, group types are structured in a tree format. There are four group types in the tree list:

• Global Group - represented in the tree by the global icon
• IP groups - represented in the tree by the IP icon
• NT domain groups - represented in the tree structure by the NT icon
• LDAP domain groups - represented in the tree structure by the LDAP icon

The global administrator has access to all group types in the tree, and the group administrator can only access the designated IP group to be maintained.

NOTE: If authentication is enabled, the global administrator will see all branches of the tree: Global Group, IP, NT, and LDAP. If authentication is disabled, only the Global Group and IP branches will be seen.
